Wrong Turn.....Amber

May 27, 2006: 10km 60min

I'm not going to write long tonight because it's been a crappy day; but I decided that I wanted to go for a different run for a change today; so I took a couple of wrong turns and BAM I'm in a feild that was disguising itself as a road! And I"m running in MUDD! It was so strange and there were all of these swoooping birds around and I kept on trying to make gun shot sounds with my mouth because I'm slightly afraid of birds (for absolutely no reason) and I felt just rediculous!! And THEN...I found this great body of water! It looked like a lake in the middle of nowhere; and I thought to myself...how is it possible for me to live in Stonewall for 18 years and not know about this! But it turned out to be the lagoon (which I knew quite a bit about) but I didn't think I was that far off my trail!! so then I got out of the mudd and took a moment to try and get the mudd off my shoes and cut the back of my leg open on some metal. Haha! what a crazy run...

But it was eventful! woot!

Don't judge me on my blogging......Amber

May 18,2006: 3 miles: 26min

Well I haven't blogged here for a while although I have been running in massive quantities (maybe not qualities!). Wow the grammer really has been going downhill! haha! but anywho...I had an amazing run last weekend that I still can remember pretty clearly. The place? Dirt road behind my house. The time? the tail end of sunset. The reason? Because I gotta!! HAHa jk. And there was this sunset; actually it looked just like the one in this picture except a little more pinkish. The road I was on ran North/South and so I had this amazing sunset on one side of me, and then dark rain clouds on the other side (East obviously). And as I was running God just really showed me so many things that I already knew, but He revealed it to me in a way that I've never seen it! It was fabulous!! It was like running the road of life with two choices; the storm and the sunset. The sky was completely split in half...and as I was running, it started to rain! And the rain and the wind would push my face toward the west, just like trials and tribulations help us focus on Christ. And one the west side of the road was the harvesting fields and on the East side was the town with all of it's man made lights; with the West having the true light. It was just a really really fun run as all of this unfolded. It was like God was telling me a story. WOOT!

It's been a while...............Amber

May 1,2006: 8km
May 7, 2006: 8km

I don't know what was wrong with me this week! Just didn't feel like doing much of anything!! Didn't blog...didn't really run...as much as everything went wrong I wasn't really busy. It was werid not to be stressed out to the max and to have time to unwind (maybe too much time). So maybe that's why i was having so much trouble running this week. It's usually a stress reliever, and without any stress to relieve, it felt werid to run! Isn't that horrible?!

How did they feel?! I can't really remember (not even tonights). I think I really like running at night...I like that time of day the best. Running under the moon light...in the rain...that was tonight. sigh! I could've ran all night! seriously!
